Information and research project «Mirprometro» can be represented as a group of sites that thematically and informationally correspond to the structure of the world metro system.
Each site has photos, widgets, informational content, videos and lots of media files.
The uniqueness of the project lies in the fact that this project uses the summarized information of the official websites of subways of various countries and cities. Here you can find all sites dedicated to the topic of the subway, its architecture and cultural travel from a particular station (see the series of storymaps «ON THE SUBWAY CAR…»).
It is planned to expand the scope of other transports related to this type.
In a way, subways are not only a mode of transport, but also various spheres of life and culture: architecture, music, heraldry, literature, science, creativity. Everything is displayed in metro stations, as well as military images, sports, industrial and many others!
The project was created on February 2, 2020, when the idea was born and the technical potential was initiated. The full life of the project began on March 27, 2020, when the first site you are on was published. The project was created and published by the Creative Studio «Projection», to be precise, Vsevolod Olegovich Beznosov (initiator — developer) and Elena Vyacheslavovna Labyntseva (head of the studio)!
At this stage, the project is being transformed into a world encyclopedia!
